purchased from our shop. Textbooks stocked are from the Air Pilots Manual series written by Trevor
Thom and updated by Peter Godwin; the Pre-Flight Briefing notes and ground school workbooks are
by Pooleys and complement the Pooleys lecture slides. |
The amount of equipment you will need as a private pilot may be daunting at first but there is no need to buy it all at once; in particular headsets are a very personal preference and you can borrow a club one while you train. Navigation equipment including maps, flight computer, ruler etc. also aren't needed until later in your course.
New maps plus navigation computers and equipment along with headsets and even pilot bears (!) are all sold at regular Pooleys prices - so you don't have to pay for postage and we're very happy to order special items for you.
